Traduzioni Turistiche offers specialized translation services to all the operators in the travel industry. We specialize in brochures, travel guides, history, art publications, web sites and any kind of translation for hospitality business in Italian and other languages.
Our philosophy is to consider translation as a human process. New technologies can help translators and considerably speed up their work, but human patience and obstinacy cannot be replaced by automatic translation systems. In the field of tourism many operators too often resort to automatic or inaccurate translations, while a good, natural and fluent translation is part of a winning marketing strategy.
Let our translation be part of your brand image!
We are two professional translators who have seen in collaboration the added value of their activity.

Irene Cangi
I was born in Perugia where I live now. In 2004 I obtained a degree in Translation from Forlì School for Interpreters and Translators (University of Bologna) and after different professional and personal experiences, in 2007 I became a qualified Guide for the Umbria Region, Italy. In 2008 I started my free-lance career as a guide and I became also a qualified Tour Leader specialized in Ireland. While broadening my experience in tourism and studying my region's artistic and historical heritage, I never forgot to train as a translator and kept translating for a few clients. A couple of years ago I had the idea of merging these experiences and use my touristic specialization in the field of translation: that was the beginning of traduzioni-turistiche.com. Thanks to the collaboration with Annamaria the site is now completely restyled and we are ready to translate for you!

Annamaria Baldan
Originally from Romagna region, with one half of my family coming from Veneto region, I have always been keen on learning foreign languages and traveling to experience different cultures. I attended University at the Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators in Forlì, where I met Irene, and after my graduation (2005) I started working as a free-lancer. Although my education was primarily focused on conference interpreting, I have always appreciated the valuable work of translation, an activity which I have been involved in regularly along with interpreting. Not only as a linguist, but also as a tourist myself, I have witnessed first-hand how important it is to rely on quality translations when you travel abroad or welcome foreign tourists in your own country. I strongly believe that the beauty of a place, the charm of a work of art, the taste of typical food are also conveyed through effective communication.
